So, many of you have laughed at me. Youapos;ve all heard me. Iapos;ve said it publically and in open forum. Those fabled words that so many people have tried to say, wanted to say, YEARNEDto say, Isaid.
"Vistaapos;s not that bad."
We all wanted to love it. We waited with baited breath for it to come out. Some people cast it off out of hand; days after it was out, or even before, people were dogging it.
Isaid, "Bah. Itapos;s just new and youapos;re not familiar. It canapos;t be that bad."
Ibought a computer with Vista pre-loaded. I struggled to like it, to use it, to learn it. Ifailed.
I canapos;t think of another way they could have made it more counter-intuitive under the guise of "user-friendly". Icanapos;t even get to a fucking button to say, "repair network" or "your files are right here." Every time Igo looking for a song, a document, a game Iinstalled, itapos;s like playing "Whereapos;s Waldo." Trying to bypass my router to allow WoW to download the gargantua-patch was so aggervating Idecided to just deal with the 3 hour download.
So, one of these nights when Idonapos;t have the munchkin, itapos;s XP for me.
